Microsoft has released the Windows 8 Consumer Preview to provide it’s users the overview of Window 8, to familiarize with the interface, features and compatibility.


To their Dismay after downloading the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, the installation is prompting the users for a product key which is a little odd in trial versions.
